About Paloma Stitch

Paloma Stitch runs beginner to experienced-level handstitch embroidery, cross stitch & tapestry workshops for groups and individuals. Based in West London but available across the UK, workshops can take place anywhere with comfortable seating and natural light.

Founder Amelia has been an avid stitcher for the past 22 years since her eldest (of three!) daughters was born. She has moved through stitching cosy tapestry Christmas stockings and cushion covers through to cross-stitch designs for newlyweds, birthday gifts, new babies and graduations. Amelia’s works have been hung on walls, sit on mantlepieces, used as beautiful napkins and even pillow cases and she is now delighted to share the joy of stitching itself and her love of these beautiful and often-neglected crafts.

We’re based in West London, but our embroidery & cross stitch workshops can take place anywhere in the world – from cozy cafés to community halls, beaches to mountaintops. All you need is a space with comfy seating and natural light!

Thank you so much for an amazing embroidery workshop. I loved it! Everything was so beautifully presented from the table setting, the plants, music and gorgeous sewing kits. You put so much thought and time into everything and it felt like such a treat to sit and sew amongst lovely people, in such a beautiful and calm atmosphere. I really didn't want to leave!

Have just spent a wonderful 1/2 day at a Paloma Stitch workshop. I had some stitch knowledge beforehand but only through doing kits at home but spending time with Amelia learning the stitches properly has transformed my confidence. Amelia is a warm and intuitive teacher and the women gathered around the table were diverse and really delightful to meet. If your thinking of learning this craft (perfect for doing while watching tv of an evening) then look no further!
