Learn the Art of Stitching

Have you ever wanted to have a go at hand embroidery? Now is your chance to learn! Whether you’re a beginner or experienced with a needle and thread, Paloma Stitch will inspire your creativity one stitch at a time.

About Paloma Stitch

Paloma Stitch runs beginner to experienced-level handstitch embroidery, cross stitch & tapestry workshops for groups and individuals. Based in West London but workshops can take place anywhere in the world with comfortable seating and natural light.

Amelia, founder of Paloma Stitch is a Londoner by birth although her Mexican mother and many years living in South African have given her a keen joy for travel, adventure, culture, nature and colour!

Amelia first started needlework 23 years ago following the birth of the first of her three daughters. She started off stitching cosy tapestry Christmas stockings and cushion covers before moving on to years of cross-stitch designs for newlyweds, birthday gifts, new babies and graduations before finally hitting free hand embroidery, her ultimate love! Amelia’s works have been hung on walls, sit on mantlepieces, are used as beautiful napkins and even pillow cases and she is now delighted to share the joy of stitching itself and her love of these beautiful often-neglected crafts with new learners.

You can check the schedule of upcoming workshops using the ‘Book a Workshop’ button or get in touch directly if you’d like Amelia to come to you! Amelia can teach one-on-one or groups of up to 12 people at a time.
